Farming

Together with my grandparents, my parents bought farmland in Suffolk around 30 years ago. On it, they run Potsford Care Farm, manage a herd of Red Poll cattle and grow arable crops. On behalf of the farm, I’ve managed its Countryside Stewardship Scheme, planted hedgerows, and helped diversify grassland in collaboration with the Coronation Meadows initiative and Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

On separate farms, I have four lambing seasons under my belt, and have worked as a cattle livestock manager.

Food for Life

For 2 years, I managed the Soil Association’s Food for Life programme in Suffolk.
I worked with 30+ schools to improve food quality, deliver educational events on: growing, visiting farms, cooking, nutrition and approaches to developing positive food-culture.
